When my older brother called on Sunday to wish us a Happy Easter,he then asked to speak to me alone.At first it was the general chit chat from him:"Hi,how are you?Is your foot any better?" etc. THEN came the shocker!:
HE ASKED ME TO BE MY BABY NIECE'S GODMOTHER!!!
Of course I said yes and that I'd be honored!
So she's being baptized in July. I'll be seeing her anyway in June when I go to my older niece's dance recital. I am really thrilled though.
I had told my friend about it & she didn't seem to care so that was why I was ticked off at her. (still am,but she & I are going to have a talk)
Back to the original subject. I just wish I could make time go faster & the distance between us closer.I guess good things come to those who wait as far as time goes.And distance?I can't do anything about it,but all of us try to see each other as often as possible.
