Anyone know of any good techniques or materials for giving polyfoam various textures that resemble real objects such as a saucy meatball (glossy) or a brick (brittle).

Hi,
You can al so use a product called dip-it and spray dip-it, But it is very toxic so you have to do it out side and wear a resperator. Well you don't have to do this but I would recamend it and so does the manufacturer. I use it to coat noses and in some cases whole puppets. It is made for coating tools to give you a grip on the handles.

Hope this helps,

Mike
