As for Seth Mcfarlane's Cartoon Comedy Cavalcade, does anyone else get the feelings those were just a bunch of rejected "Family Guy cutaway gags," that one day Seth just said, hmmm maybe I can still do something with those.
Yeah sort of, they're not very funny now, the frog one is one of the worst I think, and what does anyone else think of the mario sketch?

But yeah I use to be a big Family guy fan but now it's like ah I'll watch it if nothing else is on kind of feel for me. As you mentioned it's the same jokes over and over. I get it Meg is unpopular and not very well liked, even with her family. I also get it that Stewie is a closet and sometimes full blown out in the open homosexual.
The thing I really used to like about the show was that they killed off annoying characters, and gave up unfunny jokes at the drop of a hat. It used to be such a random, funny show... now it seems repetitive and bland. And only still around since it makes a fortune. I DID like the one with the Star Trek TNG cast reunion...

I think this is a better way to use these. I think the internet cartoon market is where these little cutaways belong. I mean, ever check out collegehumor's website? Half the jokes are ones I saw on Family Guy... And first and second season too... they even stole the Scooby Doo Murder mysteries joke. I really liked some of these... the Mario one was my favorite... and the Scottish guy watching movies. Way I see it, Family Guy just wants to be a disconnected series of internet cartoons, might as well just cut out the middle man.
