Rats. 250 for a doll? Sheesh i'll buy gonzo
A $250 asking price for a Kermit Photo Replica isn't unreasonable or insulting at all...those guys are pretty pricey, as they made fewer of Kermit than the others, and obviously he's a bit more widely-known. Gonzo is an absolute steal at $50, in my opinion. :concern:

Yes true 50$ is a steal then again they where 69 $ including shipping on Amazon.com once. Im sure the seller has payed more.
If i didnt had them already i would have gone for the 3 then again shipping would have killed me.

There have been some fine dolls made of the Muppets, but this is something entirely different.

The original SRP on Kermit was $199, $299 for Gonzo and $399 for Animal. They contain authentic patterns, materials and wire armatures inside. There are several theories for the weak sales of these limited edition treasures, but they were never intended to be released for the $50-$80 range reduction that happened after MR's bankruptcy. I doubt that covers the manufacturing and packaging costs.
