Thank you for your kind thoughts my friends.
Just for the record this other man has told me that he will no longer be involved with St. Vincent de Paul at all until further notice. When I talked to Sarah about it she said it's very strange because he's been very unclear as to why he is pulling out. All he told me and her is that he was "doing too much" and needed to take a break. He wouldn't tell us what the exact reason was for this sudden decision. As Sarah said to him, if there's something worrying him, even if she has inadvertently upset him, she would like to know. But all he will say is that he needs to stop working at Welfare. Obviously something is wrong, but he refuses to confide with either of us.
Perhaps this may all be part of God's answer to prayer in the long run somehow, though it means the three of us: Sarah, myself and Greg will have to make our own way to the Welfare Center from now on. For none of us can drive. Sarah and I will have to go by bus. I don't know how Greg will get there but it'll give him one more thing to grumble about unfortunately because he depends upon our friend and his car to cart the food he takes home. Now he'll have to carry it himself on foot or else by bus if he has the fare money on hand in his budget.
Keep on praying everybody. There may be trying times ahead for Sarah and I.
