I noticed a little muppet coincidence the other day. Tomorrow (Sunday 21 November) it is exactly 27 years since The Muppets first did a Royal Variety Performance (ok the Royal Variety in quesiton was actually on a Monday, but it was the 21 November). That year's Royal Variety took place at The London Palladium, the theatre where Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is currently on. And here's the coincidence, Louise Gold is currently in Chitty, and she, was of course with The Muppets on that Royal Variety (it was the one that she puppeteered the muppet monster Big Mama on).

All at the same Theatre.

Ah well, that's The Palladium. At least this time she's actually in a successful show. Unlike the previous time when she acted in a West End musical at The Palladium. Sixteen years ago she was a mega-flop of a musical at that theatre (a show called Ziegfeld).
