people have been trying to get this movie into production since January of 1999.

be interesting come june 13th if the wait was worth it all.

I'm looking forward to it Ernie. I don't know if it will be any good though. I just hope it's good fun. I'll feel like a teenager again going to see this film.

I'm also happy they didn't get Kane Hodder back to play Jason. The guy was dedicated to the role, yeah, but he was way too big.

I think it's dumb. I have always pictured the battle being Jason vs. Michael Myers!! Not Freddy, who is alive only in peoples' nightmares.

At least Michael has those super human qualities and a battle between the two 'physical' beings would be much more interesting.

To me, anyhoo.

It seems better being freddy vs. Jason I have always pictured this.June 13th would be a great day for opening,the reason they wont do it is that the lineup for this summer is just too good and they are scared it wont do as well with movies like the hulk,x-2,T3 etc.

well maybe if this one is successful they can bank on more BATTLE movies...
something that hasnt been seen in a while.

if this one is a success...maybe..just maybe we could be treated to more.

and besides the only reason a Freddy vs. Jason movie ever even EXIST is because NewLineCinema owns the rights to the two licenses.
Micheal Myers is under Dimenson films.
