Sorry you missed Fran, but have fun at the meet 'n greet with Dave! As I'm sure you can imagine, him being a muppeteer and all, he's a very funny, intelegent, and all-around nice guy!

One question that I would have asked her is why she wasn't credited on Sesame Street for so many years. She was credited in the second season, and then she wasn't credited again for at least eight years (according to the credits in the Old School sets), but she was credited again by the 1990s (then again, maybe I'm just thinking that she was credited then). I also would have asked why she didn't perform in Christmas Eve on Sesame Street or Follow That Bird.

And I also would have asked her to talk about Vash and her Jim Henson Hour characters.

I missed Fran Brill at the Huntington, NY event this past summer. I got to see her at the puppeteer panel performing Zoe but I really wanted to talk to her/meet and get a pic with her. Alas, she had other engagements and didn't stay the rest of the day on Saturday and wasn't there at all on Sunday.

I know what that's like; everyone I know who got to see Colin Mochrie and Brad Sherwood, talk about how they got to meet them after the show, get pictures with them, etc, but when they came to Knoxville, they had to leave immediately after the show because they had to be way down in Florida the next day, so so much for me getting the same after-show-opportunity.

Yeah I mean I've had some other near miss celebrity meetings too, but as far as Henson folks go, I've been very blessed/lucky. I'm sure I'll have another opportunity to see Fran at another event in the future. At least I got to see her in person which was a thrill after all these years.
