It has been announced during today that Fran Brill will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the third annual Children's & Family Emmy Awards on March 15.
I hardly ever pay attention to award ceremonies in the entertainment industry, but it is very nice to see Fran Brill receive this recognition, especially as I have always enjoyed her work performing Prairie Dawn, Zoe, Roxie Marie, and many other characters on Sesame Street.

I did not watch the Children's and Family Emmy Awards during last night, but I did find this video of Fran Brill being presented the Lifetime Achievement Award by Dave Goelz, along with a nice tribute from many of her friends and colleagues. She really does deserve to get this recognition and attention, especially after all of her hard work as an actor and performer over the years.
