Will we ever see any? Yesterday I watched the episode with the guy and the flute (voiced by Jim Henson!) and thought wow, this guy would make a great exclusive figure for a fraggle line. So will we ever get fraggle rock figures by anyone?

I don't think there is much chance. Palisades didn't want it and Sababa was reportedly interested but didn't take it. I think with HIT in control of the licensing we'll see more kiddie merchandise such as beanie plushes and books but not sure they'll have much success getting todays kids into Fraggle so slim chance it would extend to basic articulated figures. If you were thinking something the quality of Palisades done by an adult collectables orientated company then you can pretty much forget that. PVC's might be a remote possibility.

Luke is partially correct. Palisades wanted it, but none of the retailers did, so they had to pass reluctantly on the license... hopefully we could see some PVC's, though...

I don't think they were that reluctant. They were offered it at the same time as the Muppets, checked with their retailers to see if it was a good idea and turned it down. I don't think Ken has ever expressed the kinda desire to do Fraggle like he did with Sesame Street and actually said they really wanted it.

As things stand now it would be a very weak license for them considering the strength of Ren & Stimpy, Pink Panther, Fairly Oddparents and Muppets.
