O_O Well ... well ... I suppose it's hard to make costumes for humans when the creatures don't have human heads and stuff. Still ... *eek*

Is it me, or does Wembly look like a large parrot?

Compared to the Sesame Street line, I think these are pretty good. I mean, they have FEET and legs. The Big Bird costume didn't even have pants, leaving you to buy orange or yellow pants or something, and the costume was ridiculously expensive anyway. Wish they made a Boober with some sort of viser in the hat. I still am not wild about adult hood costumes, but at least these almost look puppety... almost.

If something like this showed up at my door I'd throw candy or money at it in hopes it would go away!

It is cool they made them. I'll never understand why Halloween costumes usually have crummy designs. Fan custums are usually best. :coy:

I don't think mass produced and cheaply produced needs any real explanation. Fan costumes are usually the best because the fans know what they want themselves, and they seek to make it as good as they can, and if they have enough money and effort, they can make something that is the quality of a Disney Walk-a-bout (or at the least, SNL skit muppet costumes).

The problem with these is that they sound simpler than they actually are. I don't think it would be that possible to make a beaky nosed Fraggle into the same sort of simplicity as a Kermit or Fozzie would have. Unfortunately, they have to have that annoying open mouth hood thing... but unlike certain SS characters, it is the only way to go.

Now, a Doozer costume would either look great or look terrible. A nice padded blue green body suit, small felt tools and gloves... latex mask with eye and breathing holes... you got yourself something I'd buy.

Those are some werid costumes but in a way kind of cute lol . The heads on them look a little funny to me that is the only thing that i think is a bit werid because of the fact that the human face would stick out LOL but you have to be able to see when you walk LOL .

Hmm, yeah, I don't think I'd wear one of theses costumes. Especially not the Wembley one!

If I was going to EVER dress as a fraggle for a costume party I think I'd just be a human version. Just dress like them and make my hair like theirs sort of thing.

I do not see how these are worth $110. And it is weird that they made Mokey and not Boober this time around. It seems that instead of doing something that made sense, like making all 5 of the main cast, they just wanted an even number of male and female costumes. One of those business decisions that makes no sense. Truth is, as bad as they are, you'd probably have people out there get all 5 to go as a fraggle group, but with one missing you are less likely to get someone to do that.
