A fanged frog? Would it suck the blood out of the bugs it catches? But that would make it a spider.

Yeah, I'm not sure how that'd work. You'd have to ask Kermit when he grew fangs after meeting Vincent Price on TMS.

Since he bit Vincent, I guess he moved up the food chain.

I've heard the "top shelf" thing in various places, and I don't get it. I'd think the top shelf is where you put something to keep it out of reach, but that's not how it's used.

Sorry, by "top of the shelf" I meant to the front or first page of the Fanfic section for all to find, especially you for an update maybe?
Meh, just waiting for more story.

*Goes to check secret chocolate stash.

Next chapter's coming along. I took a break from writing over my vacation, and now I'm trying to get back into the flow. Here's a teaser for the chapter-in-progress:
Cantus said, "We must go on."
"Now?" Murray asked.
"Tomorrow morning. We will go that way," he said, gesturing to the south.
Murray gave him a funny look. "There's no exit on that side."
"That is why we must go in that direction."

Nice, we all deserve a day off or two once in a while.

When will you learn not to say things like that Murray?
Southward, ho!
BTW: This has been added to the FLI's "in-progress" section.

Asking questions is a good way to find out things. Unless you're asking Cantus; he'll leave you more puzzled than before.

I didn't think the in-progress section was being updated; I had the idea it was for grandfathered fics that were either perpetually in progress or which the authors haven't officially given up on. Thanks for posting it there.

Yes, and my hopes are that as of 2014 that section will be greatly reduced if not altogether eliminated. But there are various fics I'm following that fall there, this one included. And since I was doing a major overhaul of updating the links so they all matched up, I figured I'd add them while I was at it.
