Fozzie ears movement

Hi puppet fellows!

I'm starting to make puppet for kid entertainment. My skill whit foam are whit mascot costume, I create "Tobias The Dragon"

I want to know if anyone have a clue or any ideas to make a puppet whit ears movement, just like Fozzie do it, I love it!

Fozzie's ear movement used to be done with motors and radio control.They were removed because of the weight issue.However, you could acheive the same effect with a string or cable by having a string connecting both ears through the head,along with making the ears spring loaded, and then have another string connected at the middle coming down so you can pull it.When you pull down and let go, the ears spring back.I am surprised that they didnt keep Fozzie's ear wiggling using this light weight technique.
