Just thought I'd share this. The tech people here may understand me more, but I'm sure everyone will find this fun.

I'm trying to learn Perl for writing CGI scripts and among the first things I'm learning is the print command with the here document.

At this point, I keep thinking of this dialogue....
Kermit: Good grief, the comedian's a bear!
Fozzie: Not yet.
Kermit: But you just said "here".
Fozzie: That was the wrong "here".
Kermit: What "here" is that?
Fozzie: The other "here".
Kermit: How will I know which "here" it is?
Fozzie: You'll know when you HEAR!
Kermit: Good grief, the comedian's a bear!

And so on. It sounds weird, but hey, it helps me remember this concept. Anyone else use Muppets to help you remember complicated stuff? Beyond letters and numbers, of course.

Actually, for my English class I did set Emily Dickenson's poem "Books" to the tune of "Here comes Mr. Humbug" and aced a memorization quiz we had on it.

"There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.

This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears the human soul!"

Of course, Dickenson wrote that before television and the Muppets came along, so I'm sure she would revise if she were around to see them.
