D'Snowth,
First off, it would be helpful that instead of saying the "forum crashed" that you gave a detailed explanation of what the error or problem you received is. Saying the forum crashed could mean many different things to many different people. Also what kind of browser are you using? What kind of operating system?
Secondly, with nearly all errors on the forum, if there is a problem, I'll receive a copy of exactly what the problem is and if it is a widespread problem (that effects everyone) I'll receive hundreds of notifications. The level of notifications has been usual for me the past month. Our forum server logs also indicate with the exception of the hiccup about two weeks ago, that things have been running smoothly lately.
This suggests that your problem may not be directly related to our server, but rather the route you take to access our site. I'd suggest whenever you have a problem that you "ping" our IP address (64.119.178.125). This will trace the route from your computer to MC and help us to know where potential bottlenecks are along the way. Obviously, the only thing we can control in most cases is our own server, but it will at least let you know where the problem is. If it's something we can control, we'll get it fixed if at all possible.
