The only female equivilent to "dude" or "bro" I've found is "girlfriend," but obviously, there's a level of awkwardness when you're a guy and you use it in regards to girls . . . except for gay guys, they seem to get a free pass, since saying something along the lines of, "Oh, you know it girlfriend," sounds effeminate anyway. :stick_out_tongue:

But sometimes I wonder what the world would be like if guys were allowed to call each other "boyfriend" the way girls call each other "girlfriend."
