I tend to spend a lot of time studying everything that I can pertaining to theatre. An excellent resource is americantheatrewing.org. You can listen to audios and watch videos of interviews and seminiars on a wide variety of subjects. And all for free.

Last night I downloaded a panel discussion from 2004 entitled Puppetry and Theatre. It a very large file (about 202MB) but it is 90 minutes of some of the most intelligent discussion you're ever likely to hear on the subject of puppetry. The five panelists are Roman Paska, Pam Arciero, Basil Twist, Cheryl Henson and Rick Lyon.

You won't see much at all in the way of demonstration (only 2 puppets make brief appearances) but so much of the theory and essence of puppet theatre are discussed at length. I would recommend this for anyone who is serious about puppetry as a topic that transcends foam, eye mechanisms, patterns and fur.

It can be found at http://www.americantheatrewing.org/seminars/index.php?page=3

Consider making a donation to the American Theatre Wing if you find the infrmation as valuable as I have.

I didn't know about the American Theatre Wing site (great link Jinx!) but I saw this panel back in 2004 and it's a very, very interesting discussion. Highly recommended!

Awesome!
If youre a puppeteer, watch the ones for Acting. They have some cool stuff that may apply to puppetry as well.
