I actually saw FTB at Best Buy the other day and was shocked. When I bought my copy I had to get it at Walgreens, and they have weird DVDs there.
I'm shocked Best Buy carries a kid's movie that isn't from the last 5 years. I hate them. not only are they hardly the best buy (even indie retailors kick their butts there), but their selection is bullocks! Unless you want something at the moment, tough toenails.
But I definitely think a special/better edition of the DVD is very needed. The one that's out now just isn't up to par.
Ah, that would be Warner Bros fault. They clearly don't care, and just ported a VHS to DVD. All they did. Even the Powerpuff Girl Movie DVD came soley in full frame, meaning you miss out on a cameo by Meatwad, Frylock and Master Shake.
