Project Puppet is proud to announce the release of the Rotondo Fleece Head Covering Pattern . This is an add-on pattern and is to be used along with the Rotondo Puppet Pattern . Learn how to work with antron fleece (Muppet fleece) and give your foam-based puppets a whole new look!

Check out the package deals we are running as well!
Very nice! I will be sure to order mine soon. I am also working on a puppet using your Rotondo pattern. I will post pictures soon.

So if I understand correctly, your Rotondo pattern is $50 and then it's an additional $25 for the fleece pattern?

Sorry if I missed returning an email (don't know how that happened).

As for the puppet, it is almost finished, but I have made a few interior alterations and I am doing some detail painting on the puppet itself.

Let me just add (to the people who feel these pattern prices are expensive), remember just as in puppet building, "You get what you pay for". If you think the price is too expensive then there are other more cost effective patterns out there. But if you like the look of these puppets, and you want a quality product then you are going to pay a little more for it.

You can make some pretty cool puppets with these patterns, and the instructions are excellent. Also, if you sell just one puppet with this pattern (perhaps on Ebay) then you will make your money back.

I recommend these patterns because they have been easy to follow, the methods are sound puppet building techniques and the end product is great. Like I said, I will be buying the covering pattern, but it is up to the individual if they want this pattern or something that is simply less expensive (as I pointed out, if you sell one puppet built from the pattern, that makes the puppet patterns very cost effective).

Yes Buck, you are correct! Unless you take advantage of the Rotondo Package which is both the Rotondo Pattern and Fleece Pattern for $55.95 USD.

Blink - I can't wait to see the character you have created with the pattern. Obviously, I developed the patterns for Project Puppet and have built my own characters, but I must say it is very exciting (I would say the best part) to see what others do with the patterns. I'm so excited!

That's a good deal, the package I mean. I think the patterns are a decent price at $55 but at $75 you might be past the upper limit of what people are willing to pay for a puppet pattern.

All three Forma Series patterns are complete puppet patterns, which will allow you to create a finished professional-quality puppet and are priced around the $50 mark.

Not one is priced at $75.

I know, but at first glance on the site it looks like it is $50 for the Rotondo pattern and then an extra $25 for the fleece covering add-on.

But as you say if you read carefully the two actually sell for $55.

I think one thing to watch out for with this type of business is too many names, too many different packages. It might all make sense to you, but to the casual reader it can be confusing.
For example, why does the Punto pattern come with two 15.5" arm rods and the others don't when they're all the same price? That struck me as odd.
