...although stop motion is really animation not puppetry so I suppose this should probably be in the General area, techically.

Puppetry = The manipulation of objects in real time to create the illusion of life.

Animation = The manipulation of images or objects, frame by frame, to create the illusion of life/movement.

But I digress...
