You did such an awesome job on beaker that I want to make one now. That is a good idea using those containers. Does anyone know what Beakers head was really used? I was just curious.

I've always heard he was made from two cardboard mailing tubes -- one that was slightly smaller than the other was used for the head and the body (or shoulders, at least), were made from the larger diameter one so that the head could shoot down inside the body when he got scared.

Each can is 7 1/2 inches (or about 27 1/2 cm) tall. I used two cans, with Beaker's mouth at the bottom of the first can. However, I believe the real Beaker is actually a bit taller than mine.
