I thought these figures were suppose to be high quality and expensive, not cheap dollar store items.

Oh, they are -- you cannot beat the detail and articulation. You just have to be picky when you select them because the paint jobs aren't exactly perfection on every figure, broken limbs typically occur because joints are VERY sticky once a figure is opened. You just have to be very careful when unsticking them... there's a thread around here about how to safely do that.

So they are high quality, but some just have bad paint jobs. And they are pretty delicate.

I'd say the accessories are more delicate than the figures themselves. With the obvious exception of Rizzo's whiskers. I'm suprised this thread isn't flooded w/ complaints about that.
