How come there are so few female muppets?

I guess the obvious answer is that most of the Muppeteers are male, but even so... All I could think of were:
Piggy
Annie Sue
Hilda
Janice
Camilla

but surely there must be more.

It just depends, are you talking about major characters or obscure ones? If you want to know more about female characters, visit www.kermitage.com and they have a huge character guide. Here you can find out about Wanda, Miss Mousey and plenty of others. Hope this helps.

Yeah, but what I dont like about Kermiatge, is that they only have Muppets from MFS, they dont have MT or any movies! :mad:

Tis still good for classic characters tho!

From what I know kermitage plans to include JHH and MT in the future. You can always use www.hensondb.tk for the productions that kermitage don't cover.
