there was one from the late 80s and can't remember how it went but telly was to star in some play and he goes up to David and says he's worried about not being able to think about the stuff he worries about. David sums it up all telling everyone, I can't believe it. he's worried about being worried.
I think I remember that. Wasn't he wearing a helmet or something. I believe he was also worried about his fur turning yellow. I can't remember too much detail on that, but it's vaguely in my mind.

Telly, Telly, Telly, hmm...well, I do remember his slide incident....even way back when it first aired in the early 1990s. But I really don't have much Telly moments, he was funny with Oscar, yes...like when they both dug to China in BB In China, and I know a funny part of him in Follow that Bird, at night when they were all about to rush to the carnival to get BB, Maria practically, swoosh Telly by picking him up fast off the ground.

Other Telly Moments...

I remember one sketch where Telly was pretending to be a firefighter. He pretended there was a fire in Hooper's Store and squirted (whipped cream I think) on David's bagel. The whipped cream was Telly's "fire extinguisher". David looked at the big blob of whipped cream that completely covered the bagel and the plate. He said "Telly! You extinguished my breakfast!"

There's another sketch I remember that I wish I had on tape. It's a lesson about air. Telly is on the street with his (deflated) sea horse pool toy. He asks Bob what happened and Bob explains that the air came out of it. They go into detail about the valve that you blow air into to make the pool toy get bigger. Bob blows up the pool toy and Telly is happy again.

But then later, Telly is walking down the street again and sees Bob sprawled out on the steps of 123 Sesame Street, taking a nap. His sweater doesn't quite cover his stomach. Telly says (to us) "Look at Bob...he's all floppy on the stairs. Maybe...maybe the air came out of him! Yeah! That's what happened! Poor Bob! Hey wait a minute...(noticing Bob's visible bellybutton)...that must be Bob's valve! I'll blow air into it and then Bob will be full of air again!"

So Telly goes over and tries to blow air into Bob's bellybutton. Bob wakes up with a start and asks Telly what he's doing. In the end, Bob explains to Telly that people don't have valves. My memory is fuzzy on how this sketch ended.

I like he sketch where telly gives a demonstration on eating cookies fast and slow. cookie monster enters, and after telly demonstrates slow, cookie monster tries to eat slow, but ends up eating fast.

I also like his scenes in Learning About letters.

Telly (Brian Meehl) Spins around and changes into different Animals
I just thought I'd comment on this one since I saw it on "Plaza Sesamo" this morning. I remembered that from when I was little. It was interesting to see that again, since they don't use Brian's Telly on "Sesame Street" anymore. I've noticed a difference in his look. He was a bit thinner and more pinkish rather than purple. I wish I would have heard the dialog in English so I could compare the voices of Brian's and Marty's Telly. Still I enjoyed seeing it in general.
