Moe and Larry died in 1975, which was during my lifetime. They tried to keep the brand alive but failed miserably in the end.
I got to see Moe live at a personal appearance in the early 70's. It was really cool. In one way, it was a bit weird because he was doing routines by himself that he used to do with two partners, but in it's own way, it was still very exciting!

And while we're stating the obvious, did you know that Moe, Curly and Shemp were brothers in real life? And that Shemp was actually in the act BEFORE Curly, then came back years later after Curly had a stroke?
I knew they were brothers but did not know that Shemp had also preceded Curly. Here's another Stooges thread that has a lot of good Stooge comments you can check out.
And very cool that you got to meet Moe Howard in person, Was Once Ernie.

Unfortunately, no. I wasn't very big on carrying a camera around in those days. I do, however, (completely off-topic) have pictures of the first time I went to visit Sesame Street. But that's because my friend that went with me brought his camera. I have a picture of me picking Bert up off a table and another of me sitting on the stoop railing of 123 Sesame Street, plus pictures of Jim, Frank and Richard performing during rehearsal.
