I'm conducting a survey: What are your five favorite Palisades figures, in terms of sculpt and character accuracy? As a bonus, you can include your least favorites as well. Mine are:

1) Johnny Fiama
2) Sam the Eagle
3) Dr. Bunsen Honeydew
4) Lew Zealand
5) Fozzie (original)

The worst is the original Piggy. What do you think?

Only working on the basis of what I've got, my five favorites are:

Sam the Eagle (S8)
Clifford (S6)
Pops (S9)
Swedish Chef (S9)
Rowlf (Backstage)

Some of the figures have never appealled to me:

From pictures:

Miss Piggy (S1)
The Great Gonzo (S2)

From some of the more recent ones I've seen in the shops (if I remember rightly):

Tuxedo Fozzie Bear (S9)
Dr Phil Van Neuter (S8)
Marvin Suggs (S8)

As far as likeness and sculpt, my top 5 would have to be, in no particular order:

Series 8 Sam, shifty more than regular

Series 5 Gonzo, though the nose paint wasn't perfected until later

Series 9 Pops. Perfect except for the lack of those tiny stripes.

Series 7 Jonny who just rocks.

Series 6 Waldorf is right on with the modern Waldorf.

There are no many others though!

What does Clifford have to do with Sal not being made?

I've got no idea.

Why is everyone ragging on Dr. Phil? I own his figure and find it to be rather well produced.

Well he does suffer from sticky paint but as far as sculpt accuracy he's real nice.

Oh yeah, the sticky paint is... well, you know. Frog Scout Robin's accessories seem to have the same paint on them. And I just realized that Beau is not one of Palisades' better efforts.

This is like picking your favorite kid. They are all great. But if I had to narrow it down mine would have to be:

Jim Henson
Fozzie
Rowlf
Sam
and the Kermit mini-figure with him sitting on the log

Nothing directly. I just think that Sal is a superior character to Clifford and am disappointed that they chose Clifford as their second Muppets Tonight character and not someone more deserving.
