I don't like religious humor. That's why whenever I watch Family Guy, The Simpsons, Robot Chicken, and all those adult cartoons, I always either change the channel, mute the TV, or take a bathroom break when they start making fun of Jesus.
I don't know what I was thinking when I called The Simpsons sacreligious. I must have either been having a bad day or was just upset about the death of the characters on The Walking Dead and got my anger out on The Simpsons. To be honest, it was probably because I've been lowering down my ADHD medicine which sometimes causes me to overreact. I completely apologize for saying that. Now that I've watched more of The Simpsons, I know that their portrayal of religion is a completely non-blasphemous way. I was used to the satire of Family Guy and similar shows and didn't quite give the religious references on The Simpsons a chance and I kinda feel bad for it. They portray religion in a very respectful way on that show and it is the only adult cartoon of all time that I feel, the religious moments are actually positive. God isn't mocked on the show. Heck, when they show Him He is easily the most powerful characters on the show (with five fingers instead of four like every other character)

Anyway, The Simpsons is a very good, family show with a good take on faith and if anything I was at fault for talking crap about it. How on Earth could I think The Simpsons is blasphemy when we have Family Guy in the world?

It's pretty much the same with the exception of a new show. It's called Miranda and it's a hilarious British show about a lady who works at a joke shop.
