Hey, what are your favorite muppet specials and why? Here are mine:

  • Muppets On Puppets I just think it is a great special and shows some great early characters.
  • The Frog Prince I don't know why I like it it's just a great special.
  • Muppet Family Christmas one of the best specials with all the crossovers etc.
  • The Muppets Go To The Movies great movie spoofs.
What are you favorites?

I like:

*Hey Cinderella
*A Muppet Family Christmas
*The Muppet Show: Sex and Violence
*The Muppet Valentine Show

If you want to count specials from The Jim Henson Hour, I like The Secrets of The Muppets.

I pretty much like all the Muppet specials, but I guess some of my particular favorites would be:
The Frog Prince
The Muppets at Walt Disney World
"The Secrets of the Muppets" from The Jim Henson Hour
"Sesame Street: 20 Years and Counting" from The Jim Henson Hour
Sesame Street: 25 Years Special: A Musical Celebration
John Denver and the Muppets: Rocky Mountain Holiday
John Denver and the Muppets: A Christmas Together

Muppet Family Christmas (by far one of my alltime favorites!)

Sure it does. At least, I'd count it. I particularly love the ending scene where the Muppets are reading letters to Jim Henson and Robin reads simply, "We will miss you Jim Henson." (Man, I about start crying at this part:cry:)
And then Fozzie cancels the closing number because he doesn't feel like they can do anything good enough for Jim Henson's tribute. But then Robin, Scooter, Gonzo and all the rest sing such a great song- "Just One Person" (If just one person believes in you, deep enough and strong enough believes in you.......) I love that song! And Kermit comes in at the end of the song and looks on with pride. What a great way to end the special- well, actually not quite, because then they have to get something silly to top it all of with. They've certainly got that.
:embarrassed:

I thought Muppet Family Christmas was good.

I have yet to see The Muppets Go To The Movies, The Muppets At Walt Disney World, The Fantastic Miss Piggy Show, or The Muppets Celebrate Jim Henson.
