It seems like almost anything can come to life in the Muppet world. And you can even expect it just by looking at the objects. Here are my favorite inanimate things that've come to life.

The wooden dragon boat in, "In the Navy."

The Beethoven bust on Rowlf's piano.

Sylvester Stallone's punching pag.

Any food that the Sweedish Chef prepares. Especially the chocolate cake, and the vegetables that ran away when the Chef tried to prepare them.

I always liked the television set that came alive and ate the viewer on the Muppet Show.

But you know what? I adore the sun and the cloud that were in some of the "This is your Life" sketches. I LOVE that the cloud would always talk in this low gruff voice and the sun was smooth and relaxed with the shades. Too funny.

I liked the talking loaf of bread on "This Is Your Life."

Or the sandwich on Muppets From Space, "Do all your people look like sandwiches?"

Or the talking foods from Muppet Christmas Carol, "Help! I'm being stolen!"

Any talking food automatically ranks high on my list of inanimate objects coming to life.

I liked the talking locks and talking money boxes in the "Marley & Marley" number in Muppet Christmas Carol.
