I reccomend you go and rent the movie Supersize Me. It's a documentary film about a guy who, as an experiment, lives on nothing but McDonald's for a whole month. You get to see his health rapidly deteriorating through the course of the film.toughrabbit said:Mmmmmm.... fast food. I could be happy surviving entirely on fast food.
I will definitely check out Fast Food Nation. I'm always up for literature that can turn my stomach (Sinclair's The Jungle, anyone?). As for the documentary, someone on the radio pointed out that the guy did indeed eat fast food for a month but also did no form of exercise during that stretch. I'm certainly not condoning fast food as a regular diet but it seems unfair to say that a restaurant can do such things to you if you're not even willing to do something for yourself. That's why I don't buy into those fat people who try to sue fast food restaurants claiming it's the restaurant's fault that they are obese. If you can get off your fat behind to get to McDonald's you can get off your fat behind to walk on a treadmill, lift some light dumbbells or do some sidebends.Lone Wolf said:I reccomend you go and rent the movie Supersize Me.
