Am i the Only one who did not hate Andy and Randy

Hi all here are my favourites and least faves of both TMS and MT

I'm more an original Muppet Show. I love most of the charcters but my faves have to be
Gonzo
Beaker
Animal

I was not too keen on Wayne and Wanda and i really did not like Bobby benson's bay bnd

I'm not as a big fan of MT after watching them side by side.

However i must say although overused I quite liked Andy and Randy. Other faves were bobo sand sak

On the other ahnd I did not like Clueless and also Pepe and Seymour. I just found the skits stupid and unfunny

Anyway is there anyone else who does not mind Andy and Randy

I think Andy and Randy Pig are hilarious, but then again, I like dumb comedy and physical comedy, which the Muppets use aplenty.

There were some bad skits and so-so moments, but I think Muppets Tonight was some genious work, with great characters.

Johnny Fiama and Sal Manilla are the best duo to come out of the show, but Pepe and Seymour are fantastic as well. Phil Van Neuter and Bobo are great. Zippety Zap and Nigel were underused. Even Spamela Hamderson and Bill the Bubble Guy were fine for novelty sake. Of course it was great to often see Gonzo, Rizzo, Clifford, Kermit, Piggy, Bunsen & Beaker, Sam the American Eagle, Statler & Waldorf, and even the occasional Fozzie and Lew Zealand.

The stuff that didn't go over to well with me, was NOT using the Electric Mayhem as the band, Carl the big mean guy, Champ Schwimmer, Captain Pighead & Crainiac, and Mr. Poodlepants.

Also, one of the main issues fans get into is that they compare the entire TMS series (all 120 episodes) to just 22 episodes of Muppets Tonight.

A much fairer comparison would be the first season (24 episodes) of TMS to the 22 episodes of Muppets Tonight.

The funny thing to me is that the first set of MT episodes (the ABC run) was much better to me than the second half, which was just plain weird once they added Gary.
