In no particular order, here are my top ten Sesame Street songs (a mixture of classics and recent numbers). Starred titles may not be the official one for that particular song, although I use the "real" titles whenever I remember them.

  1. The Sesame Street theme song (preferably arranged old style, nothing omitted)
  2. ABC-DEF-GHI
  3. That's Love* (Bert sang this in Prairie Dawn's "emotion" pageant)
  4. Doo-wop 15*
  5. I Think That It Is Wonderful
  6. Two Is My Favorite Number
  7. I Believe In Little Things
  8. Go Ahead and Touch*
  9. Would You Like to Buy an O?
  10. The Good Things Growing Better*

I Don't Want to Live on the Moon
Telephone Rock
Born to Add
Rubber Duckie

You know. The classics.

I have no sense of originality.

Here are the actual titles for some of those starred titles:

That's Love (that one is correct)
How Hard it is to be 15
Go Ahead and Touch (I think that's right)
A Little Bit

Let's see, I'll try to list ones I distinctly remember from my childhood

What's the Name of That Song? (I remember Forgetful Jones singing it, which added a whole new dimension to what the song was supposed to be about!)

Everybody Sleeps
Splish Splash (when the elephant's having a bath)
Kids
You're Alive :inhale:: Breath in! ::exhale:: Breath out!)
Working Dog
If Moon was Cookie
Alaska (Live action kids talk about how great Alaska is, made me want to move there for awhile!)
Letter B
We Are All Earthlings
Swing Up High
A New Way to Walk
The People in Your Neighborhood
Tadpoles
The Ladybug Picnic
Daddy Dear
Me and My Chair
Healthy Food (but not one of my favorites!)
I Don't Want to Live on the Moon
Put Down the Duckie
Sing Your Synonyms (When the adults sing a version of "Let's Call the Whole Thing Off")
Rubber Duckie (of course)
Oh yeah, everything from the Sesame Street Christmas Sing-Along album!

How does anybody like this version of the Sesame Street theme song? I used General Mills cereal mascots.

SONNY's day, sweeping the fake away
On my way to where the BUZZ is dark
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Cereal Park?

Come and pick, we are all free of TRIX
LUCKY days come there, that's where to start
Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Cereal Park?

Please tell me what you think of this version of Sesame Street's theme song.

That's a tough one. there are way too many great songs in the history of the show.

You can't deny classics like Rubber Duckie, ABCDEFGHI, C is for Cookie, and the classic theme song. But even still, I tend to gravitate towards the parody songs (Being a huge Weird Al Yankovic fan and all).

So I love Letter B, Hey Food, Cookie Disco, Born to Add, Wet or Dry, and the like.

So, if I have to make a small list, I'd add Telephone Rock and MAD! by little Jerry, as well as Do de Rubber Duck. As well as any song Kermit sang.
