Hello,

I just came across this little tidbit:

Here's An Interesting Rumor:
Word is circulating that UPN is considering picking up Sci Fi's not renewed Farscape for the 2003-04 season. Considering that the aging Buffy could be heading into its last season, this is not necessarily a bad idea.

It's been mentioned elsewhere, but the problem with another network picking up Farscape would be access to the old episodes. This becomes extremely important with something involving so many story threads as Farscape has. Imagine seeing one of this season's episodes without any backstory...
Not saying it can't be done (Sliders and Babylon 5 come to mind), it's just an obstacle.

UPN, Showtime, and The Hallmark Channel have all stated they aren't interested in the series. A spokesperson for UPN says it would cost them more money than their series Enterprise. Some callers have even made death threats toward various people at Showtime for not picking up the series. There's a full article here: Filmforce IGN
which shows that not all of the blame can be directed at the Scifi Channel. Henson were given options:
1) Reduce the license fee for brocasting rights
or
2) Take a 13 episode order for season 5 with an option for 9 more if the ratings went up.
Henson said NO to both.
Basically everybody was to blame for the cancellation.
