Has there been any plans on releasing Farscape seasons 1, 2 and 3 in Widescreen format? Currrently as far as I know only season 4 is in that format.

That's because Farscape didn't switch to fullscreen format until season 4.

I would find it hard to believe that they filmed the show with a lens that only fit full screen until season 4. From what I understand a fullscreen apect ratio of 4x3 (1.33:1) is achieved by croping the picture from video captured using a widescreen 16x9 (1.78:1) lens.
