This is a scene from a script I'm writing that I hope will get made into a movie someday.

Kermit and Fozzie are a top spy team on their latest assignment, trying to stop a reject James Bond villain from beaming a computer virus to a orbiting satellite. Thereby causing it to lose communication with NASA and crash to Earth, possibly injuring thousands of people or crashing harmlessly into the ocean injuring no one (He's not sure which.)

Now, let me set the scene...

Kermit and Fozzie are on their way to a trendy nightclub to meet with their contact from inside the villain's organization (Possibly Gonzo, maybe :rolleyes:or :sympathy: or even :insatiable:), after a meeting with their boss (Human Guest Star).

Int.-Garage-Night

The inside of the garage is improbably large with several dozen different cars to choose from. Kermit and Fozzie enter and their jaws both drop.

Fozzie
Wow!

Kermit
Uh-huh.

They go walking through the aisles of cars looking for one that will suit their needs. They pass by a very familiar rainbow painted one, Fozzie stops, Kermit keeps walking.

Fozzie
Hey, Kermit, how about this one?

Kermit
I don't think so. That one stands out
too much, we need to be subtle.

CUT TO

Ext.-City Street-Night

A close up of Fozzie behind the wheel.

Fozzie
THIS is subtle?

Pull back to reveal that he is driving a flashy, black sports car.

CUT TO

Ext.-Fancy Nightclub-night

This place is your typical, run-of-the-mill, no-one-gets-in-unless-their-on-THE-LIST type hot spot. The doors are barely visible for all the people trying to get in. The valet (Cameo guest star) sits out front with a blank expression on his face. A pair of mischievous monsters sit in an upper window, dropping water balloons on those who get turned away and laughing about it. Kermit and Fozzie pull up and get out. Kermit starts trying to make his way to the front of the crowd. Fozzie takes his keys to the valet who is suddenly snapped out of his daydream.

Fozzie
Make sure you park it close.
We might need it in a hurry.

The valet takes the keys, Fozzie goes to make his way through the crowd also.

Valet
(To camera)
And to think, I used to have a career.

CUT TO

Int.-Nightclub-night

The inside of the nightclub is classy and elegant, as are its patrons. Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem are onstage playing an uncharacteristically soft melody. Animal looks like he's on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Kermit enters, followed closely by Fozzie, who trips on the carpet. Kermit helps him up.

Kermit
Are you alright?

Fozzie dusts himself off.

Fozzie
Yes.

Kermit
Good. Now, Fozzie...

Fozzie
Yessir!

Kermit
...I need you to keep an eye out for anything suspicious.

Fozzie
Gotcha!

Fozzie walks off, carefully surveying the environment. Kermit makes his way to the bar where the bartender is showing off. He takes a seat just as the bartender finishes. He turns to Kermit.

Bartender
What'll you have?

Kermit
Martini, stirred not shaken.

Bartender
That's a new one.

He fixes the drink and puts it down in front of Kermit. Kermit picks it up, takes a sip and promptly chokes on it.

Here's the opening scene:

Opens panning over a busy city street, past all of the people and up to the roof of a parking garage where Kermit the Frogand Fozzie Bear sit. Kermit is surveying the crowd with a pair of binoculars, Fozzie is rifling through a briefcase filled with all sorts of hi-tech spy gadgetry. He pulls out a small metal device that looks like a screwdriver handle with a small blue light on the end, he looks it over.

Fozzie
Hey, Kermit?

Kermit
Yeah?

Fozzie
What does this do?

Kermit turns his attention away from the crowd and looks at Fozzie, who is holding up the device.

Kermit
I don't know.

Kermit returns his attention to his binoculars, Fozzie continues to look over the device. Just when the light is pointed right in Fozzie's face the device turns on and begins to make a whirring noise. Blinded and shocked at the same time, Fozzie drops the device and it rolls away, leaving him rubbing his eyes.

CUT TO

Kermit's P.O.V.

Kermit is still scanning the crowd and sees something out of the ordinary on the other side of the street, Lew Zealand in a black suit and sunglasses walking through the crowd carrying a briefcase that has been handcuffed to him.

CUT TO

Normal View

Kermit lowers the binoculars, Fozzie is examining another device.

Kermit
Fozzie! I found him!

Fozzie drops the new device back into the case and walks over to to the edge and looks out over the street.

Fozzie
Where?

Kermit hands Fozzie the binoculars, unaware that the strap is still around his neck. Fozzie takes them and surveys the crowd with them, accidentally strangling Kermit in the process.

Fozzie
I see him! So what do we do?

Kermit
(Strained)
First, let go of the binoculars!

Fozzie realizes what he is doing and quickly drops the binoculars, Kermit collapses.

Kermit
Thank you.

Kermit gets up panting.

Fozzie
Sorry.

Kermit catches his breath.

Kermit
Second, get the grappling gun.

Fozzie
Yes, sir!

Fozzie reaches into the case and pulls out what looks like a hairdryer with a grappling hook sticking out of it. He takes it, sticks it over the ledge and fires. The hook goes flying and catches itself on a streetlight. Fozzie hooks the other end of the wire to a lamp on the roof.

Kermit pulls out a cable with a small clamp on one end and a larger clamp on the other. The large clamp locks itself around his wrist and the small clamp onto the wire. He nervously climbs up onto the edge and jumps. He whizzes over the street, unnoticed by the pedestrians and safely unhooks himself from the wire mere inches away from slamming into the lamppost.

Kermit looks around trying to locate Lew.

Fozzie
(O.S.)
(Screaming)

Kermit turns just in time to see Fozzie zipping along the wire, backwards and hanging by his ankle. Fozzie reach the end of the wire and is stuck dangling there. Kermit looks a little confused.

Fozzie
(Nervous laugh) I dropped it.
