A little suggestion: this should be pinned to the top of the forum (or "sticky", whatever).

Problem is, I can't sticky/pin any threads any more. So just consider posting when necessary to update with any new fan-created characters to be considered as part of the overall family.

Is Zany a fanfic character?

Yes and no. Zany is a name first used by Ryan (theprawncracker) for one of the many unnamed Muppet penguins used as a signature character in his fics, then others, then taken as MC's Muppet mascot. He'd fall into the category of fan-named previously unnamed yet already existing Muppet characters.

Er, no...I meant say what Ed said. Fan-named previously unnamed...yeesh. I can't even do it. And I can roll paradimethylaminobenzaldehyde right off the tongue easily -- sing it, even!
