I saw that episode with the Bunsen Honeydew reference last night and I loved the episode sooo much I watched the 1:30 matinee of it as well. It was cool to see that talked about, but the funniest thing I saw was the Jitterbug number that Chris did for the tribe! OMG I laughed so hard! It was classic.

Let's recap on how many references/appearances there were:

*I Never Met the Dead Man-Stewie is outside playing with his Sesame Street phone, talking to Ernie. The phone is yellow and is of the vintage style.

STEWIE: Put me through to the Pentagon!
ERNIE: Do you know what sound a cow makes?
STEWIE: Don't toy with me Ernie! I've already dispatched with Mr. Hooper, I've got six armed men stationed outside Big Bird's nest, and as for Linda? Well it's rather difficult for a deaf woman to hear an assassin approach, now is it?
ERNIE: Can you count to 3?
STEWIE: Ho ho indeed I can!(takes out ray gun and shoots phone and at the same time counts to 3) One! Two! Three! Can I count to three? For God's sake, I'm already shooting at a fifth grade level!

*Mind Over Murder-the "Homicide Life on Sesame Street" sketch:
(There is the TV set w/ black background w/ HOMICIDE in white letters)

Announcer(voiceover): This show contains adult content("Life on Sesame Street" appears under "Homicide")and is brought to you(letter H appears on screen)by the letter H

Cuts to a street in New York city(supposedly Sesame Street) with several buildings, a rubber tire, and trashcans filled with green filth. A police car siren is heard. Camera zooms upclose to center.

In a bedroom, the telephone is ringing, and we see a yellow arm of a person who's just waken up out of bed, groaning while trying to reach the phone. The "person" is Bert)
BERT(answering the phone, still only arm showing)Hello?(now we see Bert in bed, holding a bottle of beer in his left hand, and next to him in bed is Ernie. Ernie has a gray pillow with flowers and both characters are naked)(annoyed grunt)Son of a (expletitive deleted-the "b" word)I'm on my way!

(Bert has brown hair almost shaped like a paint brush and Ernie has an oval-shaped nose in this bit)

(Bert hangs phone up and gets out of bed...with his(you know what)showing

BERT: Some poor b(another "b" word)got his head blown off(putting on pants)down at a place called Hooper's(starts drinkig his bottle of beer and chokes)
ERNIE: Bert, I wish you wouldn't drink so much, Bert
BERT: Well, Ernie, I wish you wouldn't eat cookies(now getting harsh)IN THE D("d" word) BED!
Ernie: Bert, you're shouting again, Bert!
(Bert has that disgruntled look on his face and instrumental is heard-almost sounding like one that would end every Ernie and Bert sketch)(Bert makes annoyed grunt)

*Episode w/ "this is where the Pilgrims landed on Fraggle Rock"!

*I am Peter, Hear Me Roar-While Lois and this other lady are having a fight, a chef walks out of the kitchen door with a bunch of banana cream pies, and sings "Ten banana cream pies!"(reference to those counting sketches Henson made for Sesame Street)

*A Picture is Worth a Thousand Bucks-The Griffins check into a hotel in New York. Peter asks the receptionist:

In Central Park, Meg is making bird calls. Peter is impressed and asks her to do it again. She does, but no bird in sight...until a few seconds later when a certain big yellow bird walks up to her...not looking too happy.

Big Bird is a golden-yellow color, w/ brown/green(light/dark), and no feather tops.

BIG BIRD: Yeah? Well what'ya want?
MEG: Uh...
BIG BIRD: You called me right?
MEG(nervous): Oh no no, I wasn't calling you...(chuckling nervously)
BIG BIRD(now getting irritated): Oh-oh-oh-this is funny to you? Y-yeah? You know what a pain in the (a-word)it is to get across town this time of day? Huh?
PETER: Listen uh-uh Mister, we don't want any trouble here
BIG BIRD(to Peter): I don't fly you know. I take the subway just like everybody else. Oh, and people don't stare! You make me puke,(spits on ground)(b-word)!(walks away)

*15 Minutes of Shame-Peter wants to show the cameraman his rod-puppet, old lady named Madame. Later, cameraman walks away and Peter wants him to come back because "she was gonna sing Rainbow Connection!"

*Let's Go to the Hop-There's a new drug called "Toad"(basically licking frogs) Tom Tucker(anchorman)says that it's also known as "Doing Kermit"

*Brian Does Hollywood-Stewie is threatening a frog/lizard doll for something...and takes out a Miss Piggy doll and I'll leave ya to do the rest.

*Family Guy Viewer Mail #1-Super Griffins: Peter and Brian are watching TV...and on the tv is The Count in his castle counting bats.

COUNT: Six! Six bats! Seven! Seven bats!(does the laugh-but no thunder)
PETER: Hey is The Count a vampire?
BRIAN: What's that?
PETER: Why he-he's got those big fangs. Have-hav-they ever shown him doing somebody in and then feeding on him?
BRIAN: You're-you're asking if they've ever done Sesame Street in which The Count kills somebody and sucks their blood for sustenance?
PETER: Yeah
BRIAN: No they've never done that

*Fish Out of Water-guy asks tattoo artist to draw a skull. Tattoo artist says he can do Kermit the Frog. Guy says he wants skull, but TA just goes ahead w/ Kermit

*The "Valerie Bertandernie"(instead of actress Valerie Bertinelli)in one episode

*The Bunsen Honeydew/ Peter appearance(of course)

*Model Misbehavior-Stewie asks Brian to come into his office to do something for him, but just before he can say what it is, the Sesame Street phone starts to ring. The phone is yellow, and has 4 buttons with Big Bird, Ernie, Grover, and The Count. Stewie answers the phone and it is Grover calling(voice not heard), asking Stewie if he thinks that the letter G is wonderful, and also the number 6. But then Stewie decides to hang up because Grover would'nt stop shouting and tells him to call back when he calms down. Brian asks Stewie what he wants him to do, and while Stewie is talking to Brian, there is the Sesame Street phone again. Big Bird, Ernie, and Count are there, and Grover is replaced by Oscar the Grouch. Oscar has light, yellowish green fur, a black V-shaped eyebrow, and that grumpy look on his face. After Stewie is finished telling Brian what to do, he then remembers something else: he tells Brian that "If Cookie Monster calls, tell him I am NOT talking to him until he gets out of rehab!" Then it cuts to Cookie Monster sitting in a bed in a rehab clinic, reading a magazine. Some guys come in(contraband check). One of them notices a plate of cookies under his bedsheets and Cookie claims that he doesn't know what they are/how they got there(obviously he's faking of course)...he says something else and then eats the cookies like the way he always does. The guys are trying to pull him together and Cookie's screaming and saying "You guys are Nazis, man!" One of the guys gives Cookie an injection shot to put him to sleep. Later, Peter and Lois go to the Drunken Clam after having success w/ (Lois)being a model. Lois goes into the ladies' restroom after having an argument with Peter. She takes out some tube full of pills and then some noises are heard in the bathroom. She opens the door, gasps, and we see Cookie Monster hiding there, holding a spoon in one hand, and cookie dough(comes in tube packet)in the other. Cookie is skuirting cookie dough into the spoon, and takes out a lighter. He's like "Come on!" until he notices that Lois is standing right in front of him and so he yells "Go Away!" Oh and before the Sesame Street phone/Cookie in rehab bit, Stewie tells Brian that he will pick up the phone and will "Sell, Sell, Sell"(this might have came from one of the Muppet Meeting Films. I mean, it sounded like it did, but not sure it really was from that) Oh BTW, on the phone Big Bird was the same color as he was in the episode where he was at the park(mentioned earlier)

*Hookers coming into a house, and they're being counted(same way counting sketches on Sesame Street are done)

*The Stewie/pinball clip

Others which I am not so sure about...

*Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallow's-at a Planetarium, a guy who looks a lot like Statler shows up near a lamp, thinking it's so amazing and "when he first saw this somewhere, he did you know what in his pants.
*Wasted Talent-ninja named Jerry Nelson(same name of the Muppeteer)

Right...(whew)that was some list.

I have heard of the appearances on American Dad(Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, and Miss Piggy). Can anyone describe what the characters looked like when they appeared?

That one with Cookie Monster in rehab was great, as was Stewie's conversation with Grover on the phone.

Just thought I'd add a few here. In "A Picture is Worth 1000 Bucks" what Peter asks the hotel clerk if they have bellhops that are rats like the Muppets.

Actually, that's the only one I can think of that wasn't mentioned. I'm sure there were much more. I guess I'll come up with them later on.

I'm a huge Family Guy fan as well, I have all three DVDs volumes. So this was funny. It's not the frist time Family guy did this though, Remember Big Brid spitting on Meg or Bret and Erine being a couple with Bret as a cop doing that I think it was like Law and Order, I can't remember right now. My favorite one so far though is Cookie Monster being in rehab, that was great. All in all it's funny.
