Pretty much, I'd say. This one shows more surprise than some due to the head position than some which also show a hint of annoying surprise.

Which other head positions, and what do you mean by "annoyed surprise?"

Not much, just different ways he moves his head and has his mouth position has some different surprise effects. One is more of a shock surprise (the one you had), but then other minor movements show more of a surprise, yet also some annoyance in it.

One of my favorite Muppet expressions is when Gonzo lifts one eyelid. He looks funny when he does that. :smile:

Every time I see a "scrunched up" face, it's hilarious! I even love it when Elmo's eyes are put at an angle as if he wasn't able to understand something!

Funny, I don't like the one-eyelid lift on Gonzo. By itself it's good, but it seems to have apparently replaced the symmetrival eye-widening expression. Now he's able to look sardonic or whatever, but not excited. To me, it's not an improvement, it's as if one of his eyelids is broken and he's making do with the other.

If he could do both, then I would have no complaint.
