And it's less rare...

...than the Palisades version. They produced 624 of these with the Palisades logo, and 1080 of them with the Henson logo, almost twice as many. The reason you don't see as many on ebay right now should be obvious - the Palisades ones were given directly to the people most likely to ebay them.

Do people normally join forums just to sell there items on ebay?? I saw advertisers recently for ebay consultants... they teach you how to sell and sell things for you, for a small percent.

This must be what they are advising... rather smart actually!:sympathy:

Yup, loadsa people do - if you look at this guys posts - every single one of them has been about selling Kermit figures - usually with multiple posts in different sections for the same item. I guess he has a friend of a friend who works at Henson or someplace to do with them. It's a shame people just come here to do this, and not really want to use the forum for regular use - you'd think he'd have the brains not to lie to the hardcore fans though who would know what's what .......... spinning it up for Ebay people is pretty normal practice though.

Thats why I hate ebay. A bunch of people peddling lies, and a bunch of people who don't know any better falling for it.

There are a lot of folks that swing by here and post on message, just to let us know they are selling "rare" "unusal" or "scare" things on ebay. My favorite is when they are things like the McDonalds Fraggle Rock Happy Meal toys. Those things are a dime a dozen.

Hey everyone, go on over to eBay to see my rare, one-of-a-kind, scarce never-to-be-repeated special:

An honest post that accurately describes the Muppet item I'm selling, with no hyperbole and no claims that it's more desired in the collectors' circle than it truly is
