EVERYONE VOTE: "Ode to Rowlf"!

It's now time to vote for your favorite entry in the Ode to Rowlf bust contest!

We received a total of 40 entries. It wasn't easy, but Muppet Central staff members narrowed it down to eight finalists. Because Cindy processed the entries as they were received, she knew the entrants' names and did not participate in the judging.

Here's how the voting process on the poll works: Each of the eight entries are in the poll above. Click on a title to read the entries, then vote on your favorite Ode. You may vote for only one entry. Only members who have accounts from yesterday (December 12th or before) will have their votes counted in the final tally. Membernames and IP tracking are also being used to keep track of the statistics on each vote. The results of the poll will remain hidden until the conclusion of the contest, Monday, December 16th. If you try to view the results before the contest is over you will see a "0" next to each entry with the total number of votes at the bottom of the screen.

If you are chosen in the top eight DO NOT REVEAL PUBLICLY THAT YOUR ENTRY WAS SELECTED! If Muppet Central staff are made aware that you have stated (either on our forum or elsewhere) that your Ode was chosen and/or that your Ode is a particular number, you will automatically be disqualified. Likewise, if we discover you are privately (via e-mail or other means), trying to garner votes you will be disqualified. All staff decisions are final. Forum members who are not finalists are welcome to discuss which Odes you like and why. While we would prefer you not publicly say which you voted for, you are free to do so if you wish.

The eight "Ode to Rowlf" finalists will be permanently archived in our fan fiction section with proper credit given to the authors at the conclusion of the contest. Good luck to the eight finalists for the Rowlf bust from Sideshow Toys, and thanks to everyone who entered!
