I'm applying for a job that I really want at a bookstore near me, so I'd appreciate it if you'd keep me in your prayers and thoughts as I go through the application process. I've already filled out the application form, so the next step is to follow it up with a phone call, so I'll try to do that today. But all the same, I'll keep you posted.

Well, as it turns out, the book store is not hiring right now (why couldn't they have told me that when I picked up the application? ) Anyway, I'm thinking of applying at a *music* store instead, so we'll see how that goes. Thank you, everyone, for your words of encouragement!
