Ever played Risk or Axis and Allies?

Hs anybody here every played Risk or Axis and Allies or something similar....?

This may be a bit of an odd question but they really are great boardgames...just like to see how many of you play em and to say which is the best.

Also to talk about any other great board games (excluding monopoly)

Risk is great...I probably like original risk better than 2210Risk wich is a futuristic version.
