(1) Ernie has his own apple-selling stand. He hands Bert a stool to sit on and he brings napkins. Since there are no apples, Ernie changes his mind; he plans to sell some apple-selling stands.

(2) The backyard.

(3) Great.

(4) The same ending music from a Twiddlebugs' rainy day sketch.

First Ernie gave Bert the stool, then Ernie puts a toy cash register on his stand, and finally the napkins. He planned for everything, except for the apples. That was a regular thing on Sesame Street. A character makes all sorts of plans for a project, and ends up forgetting the most major thing.
