Here's a trivia question:

How many times from old Bert and Ernie skits, did their apartment suffer severe flooding?

Correct!

Do you remember the circumstances by which the floods occurred?

Here's what I think happened:

1. Ernie's done with his bath, but keeps thinking that he forgot something (soon we learn he forgot to turn off the water)
2. the faucet has a leak, so Ernie makes an attempt to clear the water out of the house, one paper cup at a time ... unfortunately before Bert can do anything, it's too late!

PS. jeffkjoe, would you happen to have a copy of Unpaved #2293? I can't find that one ANYwhere.

Unpaved 2293?

You probably have to give me some context of what's on that one.

I MIGHT have it.

But let me ask you: Do you have the 1972 episode with the first appearance of Hal Miller as Gordon #2?

Not the 1972 rainstorm, but the OTHER 1972 episode?

Maybe we could trade, if I have 2293.

#2293: Big Bird and Snuffy go exploring

I know where to find every SSU episode, and 2293 is the only one I can't find. I'm also missing a few from the late 80s. But so far I have 43 of them, including the one you mentioned, and I'll expecting some more from people like Splurge, ssetta and Jeffrey Gray. Email me and we'll talk trading. (Click on that little email button down below.)

I could even send you some pictures I took of Caroll and Oscar at Hicklebee's.

One of the highlights of my inventory includes an uncut version of 2356 (Visit to the Bronx Zoo) as recorded from PBS. Only the introduction is missing, and I also have a logo-free Noggin copy, thus it's 100% complete.

Hey, I was there too...

Were you the one who asked Carroll about the success of FOLLOW THAT BIRD versus the failure of ELMO IN GROUCHLAND?

And were you talking to Trekkie from Mountain View?

So I'm curious, now

Were you the one who asked Carroll about the success of FOLLOW THAT BIRD versus the failure of ELMO IN GROUCHLAND?
What was the question, and what was the answer?

I have to confess, I haven't seen Follow That Bird - but I couldn't stand Grouchland, even though I respect an awful lot of the people who worked on it.
