They should not make a sketch like this at all.It woul be wonderful if our noses could grow longer while you lie just like pinocchio and it will most definately for everbody to know the difference weather if they are lying or not.By the way,If ending music is on this skit,How does it go

Thank you for complimenting my thoughts.

Also, I remember a time Ernie kind of got punished for his food filching. Ernie ate one of the pieces of cake Bert bought. And Ernie made up a story about a monster eating it and leaving. Bert didn't believe it and left. But then Beautiful Day Monster came in and ate the second cake and handed Ernie the napkin and fork. When Bert saw the last cake gone and Ernie with the napkin and fork, he left in disappointment and poor Ernie got upset.

In a way, Ernie kind of got what he deserved for all those times he took Bert's food. Bert didn't believe him one bit.
Well that might be true, but if you think about it that sketch with Beautiful Day Monster was from Season 1, and all the times Ernie ate Bert's Food was after that I think. Except the Jelly Beans they were in season 1

Well,Thy should not make it for children to lie because it's always never right!

But if they wanted to do it on a fake tv show or movie that anybody can watch or so while it's a comedy,Then it's just fine.

Yes a brilliant observation Xerus! I'm trying to think if I recall ever seeing Bert eat any food.
I know of two times, though I'm not sure if we actually saw Bert physically eating:

When Ernie ate Bert's chocolate ice cream, and proceeded to "make some more" out of a banana, ice cubes, and some gravy. (Eeeyecch!) Oscar came in, and, with an unusual air of friendliness, gave each of them an ice cream cone.

We saw Bert just about to eat a cookie, when Ernie cajoles Bert into sharing it with him. Afterwards, Ernie asks if he'd share the half a cookie he has left!

Yes that's right, I think it's reasonable to assume that Bert ate that ice cream cone off screen that Oscar gave him. And also a good assumption that Bert ate that half cookie, considering how highly exasperated he got when Ernie asked him to share it (but even if Ernie did manage to get Bert to surrender another half, that's still a quarter of a cookie Bert would have gotten to eat! Unless Ernie would have dared to ask Bert to share that quarter cookie. Oooh I shudder to think of how Bert would have reacted to that! )
