Just how our hopes were raised when we heard that a longlost episode would be available for the general public to view, and it just turned out to be very disapointing for me. I dunno, I guess I was expecting too much.
I don't think that episode would be considered long lost. Pretty much every episode is just as frequently shown as each other. Currently, TMS reruns are not shown in america, but they are shown in other countries. I don't think this episode is banned or anything. What's been released on DVD is easier to find, but there are still a lot of episodes that have never been released on DVD. And besides, just because an epsiode is lost or rarely seen does not mean that it's the best episode of all-time.
