Hey,

Since you guys were such a big help in figuring out the airdates for the other two episodes I asked about, I'm asking nicely for more help.

Recently, a friend showed me a tape of SS she had of an episode from 1985. I liked it so much I asked if I could make a copy of it for myself, and she let me. But I'm curious to know at least a remote airdate for it, if you can figure it out from the number (2107). I'd appreciate it!

Thanks in advance,

Will.

Is this episode complete and everything? Is the quality OK? If so, I would love to see it.

Heh, yes, this one *is* complete, the quality is about as good as a second gen SP dub from a nearly 20 year old SP tape can be. There are one or two minor glitches, but it doesn't affect the enjoyment of the episode.

The episode originally aired on December 3, 1985. Send me an email if you'd like to trade... I have a large collection of episodes, (none newer than season 25) and almost half of them did not air on Noggin.

Since I have really only had a couple days to watch it, I can't think of them off the top of my head. The basic plot is about how Oscar asks Bob's friend, Bernie, to tune his piano in an awful sounding way. Grungetta hears Bernie tune and play, and spends a lot of time with him. Oscar starts getting jealous, and asks Olivia to ask Bernie out on a date to get him away from Grungetta, which works (they really like each other, after all).

A few of the skits that stick out in my mind from it are Don Music trying to write the "Sesame Street" theme song ("Can you tell me how to get, how to get to Yellowstone Park?"), "Admiral Bird", Ernie imagines Bert being kidnapped by Martians, when Bert was only in the kitchen, a film with a guy painting "3"s on bread with ketchup, mustard, and mayonaise at a picnic. There are a bunch of others, but those are the ones that I remember most offhand.

If you want to trade for it, you can email me, and maybe we can work something out. Thanks for finding the airdate for me!
