Did you ever notice that some Seasons of Sesame Street were "centered" with a particular topic and many of the episodes were about that one particular thing? Here are the ones that I know of.

The 17th Season had a lot to do with the Adoption of Miles and Miles being the New Baby in Town. A lot of episodes were about Baby Miles that year.

The 19th Season had a lot to do with Maria and Luis being in Love and a lot of the episodes had to do with their wedding plans, and them being in love.

The 20th Season had a lot to do with Maria's Pregnancy, a lot of episodes that year focused on it.

The 29th Season, as we all know had a lot to do with Slimey's Spaceship going to, and then coming back from the moon. A lot of episodes also focused on this.

These are the only 4 "centered" Seasons that I know of. It's too bad there wasn't more of them. But I guess there's only so much they can do.

Season 32 was centered around "empathy". Season 33 was supposedly centered around helping kids feel better after the recent 9-11 attack. Season 36 is centered around "obiesety".

There's a list in "'G' is for Growing" that lists much of the curriculum goals per year. Back in the 90s four years were dedicated to literacy, and four years before that were centered around different cultures.
