Being a San Francisco resident for over thirteen years now I have been through a few minor quakes. We tend to take them for granted and nobody seems to note them except on the news. I hope it's like that for our UK members. My thoughts are with you.

I have cousins that live about 40 miles north of London. I hope they're alright, as well as all the UK members here. I wonder if power was knocked out?
Oh well, I'm sure Beau or Dan will come here as soon as they can to update us. I'm just glad that according to the article there were no really serious injuries.

It was just a minor tremor, not even power outages. Very few people even noticed, so things are fine!

Yeah, you know I'm a NorCal girl myself, and I think it's kind of funny how everyone's always like "OMG! EARTHQUAKE! GET TO SAFETY!" and everyone around here is like, "What? The ground shakes a little. A can fell off a shelf. No biggie." Earthquakes really aren't that big of a deal until they're like a 6.0 or bigger (I think I have the number right....)

I've honestly never actually been in an earthquake before, so I probably would have on idea how I would react to one in I ever was.
