Hi! As I watched my first Sesame Street shows from 1987, there was Elmo!!!

Do you think Elmo appeared on SS Unpaved on Noggin?

Yes, actually, he was. The 1987 Season primiere, show #2356. Elmo, Gordon, and Miles went to the Bronx Zoo to see the animals, and Buster the Horse was the tour guide. It was set up just like a show with Elmo today.

I have that episode taped from PBS, but it's missing the first two minutes. Soon I'll be getting a Noggin copy, so I'll be able to tell you what's missing from Noggin.

I think I remember seeing that one when I was little. I believe that's when Miles was just learning to talk.

By the way, wasn't Miles originally played by Roscoe Orman's real life son? Interesting bit of trivia.
